Lovin' Dead is a Bay Area Grateful Dead band led by founders Jay Wilcox (lead guitar, vocals) and Jeffrey Quigley (keys, vocals), with Zach Jones (rhythm guitar, vocals) and Michael Land (bass, vocals). Expect two sets of psychedelic jams, smokin' guitar and three-part harmonies, for a crowd that came to dance.
Rooms played include Sweetwater Music Hall, the Ivy Room, HopMonk Sebastopol, the Rio Nido Roadhouse, the Elephant in the Room, the Golden Gate Bistro and the Crazy Horse. The band nearly sold out Spancky's in Cotati before its September 2023 return (Grateful Web). Themed nights on request: Dylan & the Dead, a Robert Hunter night, Halloween.
